Materials: Sharpie, Charcoal, Posca Markers

Process: First, I wrote down my ideas in pencil. I then added charcoal to give it a more artistic and messy feel. After that I used sharpie and Posca markers to outline and emphasize the writing.

Ideas: I started with the idea of loneliness for my Sustained Investigation. I asked why people are lonely in the modern world despite how connected we are. I found that social media and city design produce loneliness. I also realized that feelings of loneliness were exacerbated by the pandemic when people were kept separate from one another.
