SI 7 (revamped)

Image
Materials: Camera, Lightroom, Photoshop Processes: I got the old photo from SI #7 and duplicated the girl many times to make it appear ghost-like and surreal. Ideas: The idea for this one is to make it more surreal and to make it seem like she is around the people doing the same things and being isolated from one another.

Materials: Camera, Lightroom, Photoshop Processes: I will take the photo and edit it to show my idea Ideas: My idea is to have a group of 3 people sitting together smiling and happy in a Third Place (probably a restaurant), and 2 of the people are holding each of the person's hands, turning them from black and white to colorful and vibrant. This represents how the revitalization of Third Places and communities can alleviate loneliness.

Materials: Camera, Photoshop Processes: I took the photo and edited it in Photoshop, adding several layers such as the roads in the background Ideas: This photo represents the isolating feeling kids can have living in the suburbs.

Image
Materials: Camera, Photoshop Processes: I took the photo with the three people looking at their phones, each with a distinct color. I edited the photo in Photoshop Ideas: The idea for this was that even though they are physically right next to each other, they are still isolated in their own worlds, represented by the three different emotions they convey. This is also to show the negative aspects social media can have in general.

Idea: I want to convey that each of us sometimes live in our own worlds and realities using social media. Social media can also produce negative feelings such as fear, (emotional) pain, and anger that isolate us from one another when we don't talk about them with each other.
